FLC SERIES FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLERS

FLC-100 Series controllers are 1/32 DIN panel mounted units that utilize advanced fuzzy logic algorithms to overcome the inadequacies of standard PID controllers; all in a compact sized package and at an economical price. The FLC-100 Series connect directly to thermocouples, RTDs, 4-20mA, 0-5, & 0-10VDC inputs. Control outputs include relay, SSR driver (24VDC logic) and 4-20mA. The control output may be configured to operate in the on/off mode with adjustable hysteresis or proportional mode with PID settings automatically calculated and updated.


Fuzzy logic technology enables a process to reach its setpoint in the shortest time possible with minimum overshoot and undershoot during start up conditions and process disturbances. The fuzzy logic works in tandem with the autotune function in the sense that the value of the PID parameters chosen by the controller are used as a starting point for all decisions made by the fuzzy logic intelligence. The end result of this extra layer of "intelligence" is that your process will maintain a rock-steady setpoint and stay there. The FLC-100 Series are UL, CSA, CE & FCC approved and the faceplate is NEMA-4 rated for "wash down" environments. Prices start at $159. The units can also be factory preset to your requirements and assembled in enclosures with relays, power supplies and humidity and temperature sensors/transmitters.

 

HCL SERIES HUMIDITY & TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS

HCL Series controllers are custom designed for OEM applications. These products offer economical solutions to relative humidity, dew point and temperature control requirements. Many of the HCL Series products are sold as printed circuit cards for installation in control panels. The designs range from simple on/off humidity/temperature switches for ambient environmental control to microprocessor based circuits with displays, computer interfaces and multichannel controllers.
